Stitches'N'Stones Cross Stitch is a family owned and operated company located in Arizona. Everyone from our children to our friends, even our dogs help in some way. We often use the kids' artwork for backgrounds as well as their ideas in our patterns and their hands for packing. Friends do most of the model stitching, and the dogs...well, they chew our floss, but they do try to help, even if they aren't allowed in our workspace! We thank each and every one of our customers both wholesale and retail for choosing our products and allowing us 8 years of work in a business we truly love.

"Meet our Staff"

Meet the Designer

We wouldn't be able to run this company without our stitchers, they're what makes this all possible! Over the course of the last year I've made some irreplaceable friendships with them all. Thank you for the hard work and beautiful stitching you do!

Meet Our Stitchers....

Kathy Stuit- I've been stitching for over 15 years and just love it. I found that cross stitching is the best de-stresser! I have been married 10 years and have 2 children, a son who is 8 and a daughter who is 2.

Vivian Bales- Hello everyone, my name if Vivian Bales and I'm lucky enough to be one of Tracy's model stitchers.

I'm 31 y.o. and I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 girls, a cat and a puppy. We live way up north, in the Yukon Territory of Canada. It's the home of the midnight sun during the summer and in the winter we all forget what the sun looks like.

Tracy is the only designer I've stitched for and I am so enjoying her patterns as well as our friendship. Her designs are so whimsical. My favorite to stitch so far was the Stars'n'Stars...a friend of mine made the comment that it was "full of joy" and that just captures the piece for me.

Stitching is and will always be my first love...but this winter I plan on trying new things, quilting, embroidery, etc. If I'm not flipping through my patterns, I'm dreaming of patterns, searching online for patterns or playing around with my own patterns. Looks like my 3 y.o. has the bug as she has already "stitched" her first piece and is anxious to try more.

I look forward to stitching more for Tracy and anxiously await her new designs as well as continuing our friendship

Patty Bennett- Patty has been stitching for over ten years. She does lovely work and we enjoy working with her very much.

Kemi Sutton- Kemi is a mother of three adorable children who has been stitching for more than fifteen years. When she has the time, she likes to stitch from designers like Paula Vaughn and Thomas Kinkade. She also enjoys creating her own designs. Kemi has worked for StitchesNStones since 2001, and loves working with such a talented designer.

Caroline S.

Caroline S.- I have cross stitched for about 5 years, although it seems longer. I love Tracy's designs and can't wait to stitch a model piece for her again.

Gloria

Gloria- I live in New York. I have a pet Guinea Pig named Kirra who is a joy to have around. I was introduced to counted cross-stitch 14 years ago and I have enjoyed it ever since. Before then I was doing stamped cross-stitch as well as crewel, and embroidery. Over the years I have done numerous counted cross -stitch projects, which include pictures for my home, my sister's home, gifts, as well as occasionally selling my finished projects on consignment. My interest at this time is door pillows and bookmarks. Recently I have begun creating my own designs.

Wanda F.- Married to high school sweetheart Joe in 1986. A full-time SAHM to 4 boys, I've been stitching for 16 yrs but only got into it around 4 yrs ago after winning Sweepstakes ribbon at local County Fair. All the great resources on the Internet have immensely help add to my stash! I have soooooooo enjoyed stitching the models I 've done so far for Tracy, what fun patterns she comes up with!!!!!

Chef Tiger- Did a small piece when I was a teenager.. then later I really picked it up and started stitching about 9 years ago after a friend was having a hard time with some kits she'd bought herself gave me one to see if I could do it... she ended up giving me all her kits... I've not stopped since and I'm completely addicted now!! I've even dabbled in design though still working on that!

Joni Merritt- I've been happily married for 30 years to a retired Army man! We've lived in Germany for 6 years and then all over the U.S. We have two married children and one grandson. I've been stitching since 1980, it's my form of relaxation. I love to stitch patriotic items and snowmen. We just bought our first house in Tooele, Utah.

Scarlett Rabon

Scarlett Rabon- Scarlett does some of the most beautiful stitching we've ever seen! She's a SAHM in SC with 2 teenagers, April & Chad. Her favorite things to stitch are birdhouses and snowmen.

Karma- I live in Ohio. Have been stitching for about 16 years. I also crochet and like to do rubber stamping. I have 3 children, and 2 grandchildren.

Peggy Benandi

Peggy Benandi-I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast; am happily married, have 2 children (Jerry and Laura) and 5 grandchildren (Kyle, Kayla, Jessica, Brittany and Brandon.) I took up the art of cross stitch in June/July 2000 and was addicted from the first stitch. Thank you Tracy for giving me the opportunity to do model stitching.

Annmarie Colbert-
I am 40 years old and live in a small town in NC, I have been stitching for over 24 years. I learned how to stitch when I was in high school. I have been married for 21 years to a wonderful man and we have a son who is 11. I really do enjoy model stitching for Tracy love her designs they are so fun to stitch.

Linda C.-
My name is Linda and I have been cross-stitching off and on for about 20 years. My renewed interest was sparked a few years ago when I joined a group that Tracy was a member of. When she was looking for model stitchers...I answered and the rest as they say is history. Tracy is great....especially since I keep moving around on her and I just love doing up her "ideas".Hopefully one of these days I'll be doing a little more in the world of cross-stitch as I am toying with the idea of doing some of my own designs. I am currently living in Columbus, Ohio with my 2nd husband and a cat who thinks she's a dog and who has just recently gotten the nickname "Miss Hissy".

Debra -
Debra Scarborough
In Indiana
2 kids
Married 18 years.
Stitches everyday.

Nancy B.-
I did needlepoint in my 20's, never enjoyed cross stitch. In the past 3yrs I've made up for it though, I am so hooked on cross stitching and collecting stash. I like to stitch snowman and lots of other fun things. I am 51 and work for American Airlines. I have a grown son and one cat.

Ginny R.-
Howdy ~ I live in southern Oklahoma and love it here. My name is Ginny and I have loved stitching since I was a little girl. Mom took up cross stitching when I was 6 or 7 and I used to sit at her knee ~ entranced with that magical weaving. I have two little girls ~ Graycyn Rose turned 6 last September and Madacyn Rayne turns 5 this July. They are surely a handful and sometimes my stitches are slower than they used to be. But the girls are so worth it ~ even those days when I'd like to hog tie 'em and duct tape them to the ceiling. LOL I love to model stitch for Miss Tracy! Her designs are always so fun and whimsical. Yall will have to try them out too! You'll love 'em!

Linda S. -
I have been model stitching for over 8 years. I love every minute of it. Kevin (DH) designs and stitches also. We have been married for over 19 years and have four children. Our oldest is going to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in Physics/astronomy option and also majoring in German. He is getting ready to enroll in the Air Force ROTC. Our other children are in 11th, 9th and 6th grades. They all cross stitch and enter projects in the county fair. They have won blue and red ribbons. They also latch hook.

We live in the country on 40+ acres and I grow hot peppers, tomatoes, tomatillos, beans and peas. My in-laws have a tree farm here since this is their land. We have two dogs, (1 is pregnant), four cats, one gerbil and one duck. We also have a pair of canadian geese that come every spring for about three or four months.

I stitch for several companies, but love stitching for Tracy. She is one of the greatest. I love her designs. Thank you for great designs Tracy.

Patrica B. -
Patricia B.- I'm a stay-at-home mother of 4 (20,18,10 & 9). I've been married for 12 years to a wonderful man. I live in a farm in the middle of nowhere in Souris, North Dakota, very close to the Canadian border.

I learned to cross stitch as a young girl, but got interested in it again in June of 2002 thru my sister. I've been modelstitching for almost a year now and love it.

Christina Bowen-
I live in SC with husband Fred. I was taught the art of Cross Stitching in the 8th grade and didn't really get into it until the death of my father in 2001. I enjoy all cross stitch from Mirabilia to Stitches'N' Stones. The biggest thrill I get from stitching is model stitching, stitching something for the first time is awesome.

Monika -
Monika stitches beautifully. She is very detail oriented and careful about her projects. I could not ask for a more dedicated stitcher!

Belinda -
Belinda has been stitching for me for a short time but I've enjoyed working with her. Her stitching is perfect and quick and she's been very patient and accomodating.

Tammy Murphy-
I live in the Northeastern Ohio. I have three daughters Dusty, Mindy and Amanda. Have been married to my best friend Lee, for 25 years. I am a huge animal lover, we currently have three dogs. Diesel, Phoebe and Graham Cracker. Plus, we have three canaries and several outdoor felines.

I have been stitching in one form or another for as long as I can remember, I enjoy stitching a variety of things. Other than stitching I enjoy Gardening, Collecting Button's and spending time with my little family.

Bonnie Prisbrey-
I have been stitching for about 30 years now. I am 41 years old and married to Max, a National Guardsman currently in Afghanistan. We do not have any children yet (only married 2 months when he got deployed), but we have 2 kitties. I attend Weber State University and have a double major: Psychology and Criminal Justice. I am going into criminal psychology when I am done with school.

Barbara Pedersen-
I'm going to be 62 this summer and still married to the same one and only man I love for 40 years! We have 2 children: the oldest is a married daugher and the youngest is about to marry the second most wonderful girl I know. I dabble in music, sailing, and things I can do with my computer.

I have 2 passions...a first grandchild who lights up my world.....and stitching.I've tried nearly every form of needlework but intricate cross stitch,Hardanger, and recently Tracy's patterns take most of my time. I love the challenge of the tough ones and I really enjoy the elegant simplicity and humor in Tracy's!

Believe it or not, I don't have a single completed piece of my own hanging on my walls - I've given everything away! But since I'm now retired, I plan to change that and I have a l-o-n-g list that I will squeeze in between things Tracy sends me to do.
